Periodontics

Anew advanced aesthetic daycare centre offers services in Periodontics using most advanced techniques from best skilled dental surgeons. Here we are listing on services and technology used diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and in the placement of dental implants

Root Planing

Root planning is a deep cleaning procedure of the gum line to treat gum diseases. Gum disease is caused by bacterial infection causing inflammation on the gum tissues. The inflamed gum tissues move away from the teeth and create open gaps or spaces between the gum and the teeth. Infections develop in these pockets are leads to tooth loss. Root planning procedure deep cleans these pockets or gaps formed between the gum and teeth.

Laser Assisted Gum Surgery (Flap Surgery)

The advancement in laser technology has brought in new techniques in the dental industry. The laser gum surgery props up rejuvenation of diseased gum and root facade. The main advantage of the laser-assisted gum surgery is that it is minimal invasive with zero gum recession. The regrowth of gum tissues also ensures the reoccurrence of gum disease. The treatment procedure is painless and with minimal recovery time.

At Anew advanced aesthetic day care centre, we use US FDA approved laser device called as LANAP for the flap surgery. The device differentiates the affected gum tissue which is dark in shade from the healthy gum tissues and destroys the infected tissues. The debris is removed by spraying water and suction. The surrounding tissues on the area are excited to a certain extent to reattach to the bone. The gum is then sealed with a thermal blood clot and creates a barrier for the bacteria to re-enter and prevents plague.

The laser flap surgery is an effectual procedure for improving overall dental strength with

  • Painless
  • no bleeding
  • zero gum tissue removal
  • the minimal recovery period
  • Single sitting procedure
  • Safe and effective
  • No risk of infection

Laser Crown Lengthening

Crown lengthening is a procedure to improve the strength of the gum tissue. Crown lengthening is also helpful to remove gummy smile in which overly exposed gum tissues are removed to improve the aesthetic appearance.

Crown lengthening restores the damaged tissues, trim the excess gum tissues to bring in balance and symmetry to the smile and to create more space between the supporting jaw bone and the dental crown.

The crown lengthening procedure is performed under a local anesthesia and the dental surgeon makes a small incision on the spot to pull apart the gum tissues from the teeth. At Anew advanced aesthetic day care centre, our dental surgeon uses laser to remove and destroy the excess gum tissues from the area. The wound is cleaned and sutured. The use of laser for the process increases the precision, sterilizes the area and prevents the risk of infection. The procedure is minimal invasive and is performed as a day care process.
